The complex dates back to the second half of the eighteenth century. It dates back to August 1776, a date evidenced by the existence of a parchment found inside one of the roof beams, which attests the completion of the works to this period. The splendid mansion was born as a residential and productive complex, in fact the typological and structural characteristics typical of the buildings for the processing of silk, a notable activity in Brianza during the 18th-15th centuries, are very evident. In fact, in what is now the park of the villa, there was a mulberry plantation, a lake for the settling of silkworms, which was then turned into a pond. In 1780 the villa was enlarged and warehouses were built for the storage of goods, stables for horses and a stopping station for postal couriers. At the end of the twentieth century, the villa was modified in its intended use, creating what the complex is as it is today. The internal spaces, as well as the external ones, are enormous and therefore able to satisfy any event, banqueting, receptions or gala evenings. A change of intended use oriented towards hospitality, would allow a qualitative leap for this magnificent property, which would guarantee its guests an immersion in the history of this complex and would make it a leader in its territory, without neglecting the services that today they are guaranteed. Therefore a possible development and enhancement project would be added and complete the already existing profitability. The rooms are all furnished in perfect Baroque style with fine antique furniture and accessories, which accompany the property in its over 300 years of history. The property is in excellent condition and always alive in its activities and is considered a flagship for the entire Lombard community. Extremely suggestive, the small chapel dedicated to San Francesco still houses paintings from the Umbrian school today. The decorated ceiling and stained glass windows make it a little gem. Still consecrated, it is used for private family celebrations, but it can be visited during guided tours.
